Gaia’s Garden of Auroville
Gaia is the Goddess of Mother Earth in Greek Mythology.
Gaia’s Garden has been part of the evolving Auroville experiment in human progress since 1996. It is a place where visitors may stay at a beautiful guesthouse in an enchanted garden, all crafted and cared for with immense diligence and care. Visitors are welcome to take a few days off, or set aside a longer stay for an immersion experience of peace and beauty in the way of Gaia.
Gaia’s Garden is a small ecological community of Auroville. It is one of the most beautiful flower gardens in South India, a sanctuary for exotic tropical plants spreading over 2.67 acres. It is one km from the Bay of Bengal, five km from Matrimandir and seven km from Pondicherry. There are seven double rooms and four suites surrounded by lovingly tended garden flourishing with flora & fauna. Soak in the full glory of nature and experience a life different and beautiful in Auroville, the UNESCO-endorsed international community of India.
